An out-of-state investor paid $4.22 million for Foley Plaza, a 20,4000-square-foot neighborhood retail center at 2131-2167 S. McKenzie St., in Foley, according to Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the seller. The center is anchored by AT&T and is fully leased.

EquipmentShare paid $735,000 for two buildings in I-10 Industrial Park at 5750 and 5766 I-10 Industrial Parkway in Theodore, according to Pete Riehm of CRE Mobile, who handled the transaction. EquipmentShare is a national company that provides large construction equipment rentals and digital solutions for the construction industry. The two new buildings provide more than 14,000 square feet of office/warehouse space in addition to their current space at 8765 Bellingrath Road in Theodore.

Two commercial lots next to Old Time Pottery on Ala. 59 in Foley were purchased by an out-of-state investor for $550,000, according to Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties, who handled the transaction. The lots total 169,884 square feet of land.The buyer plans to subdivide the property for a future quick serve restaurant and a small retail strip center.

Handling Systems & Conveyors has leased 3,500 square feet of distribution space at 8551 Rand Ave., in Daphne, according to Steadman Bethea of Stirling Properties, who represented the tenant. Handling Systems & Conveyors is a manufacturer of assembly and process material handling systems.

Watch for a mixed-use development on 53 acres northeast of Ala. 181 and St. Michael Way just outside Daphne, according to the Baldwin County Planning Commission. About 21 acres bordering Ala. 181 would be for commercial tenants and the remaining acres would be a residential subdivision. The project has received annexation approval from Daphne City Council.

The city of Foley has leased about 2,500 square feet of office space in the 200 W. Laurel building at 200 W. Laurel Ave., in Foley, according to Amanda Goldman and Jason Scott of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord. The newly renovated building in the city’s downtown historic business district will house the city’s engineering staff.

Dogwood Estates with 72 single family residential lots is planned for part of a 65-acre site at the northeast intersection of the Baldwin Beach Express along Baldwin County 36 near Summerdale, according to the Baldwin Planning Commission.
