The number of new coronavirus cases rose by 321, a figure that – if it holds – will be the smallest increase since early June.
The Alabama Department of Public Health’s Aug. 21 10 a.m. numbers show 107,804 total coronavirus cases. The number of deaths rose by 29 to 1,905.
The final numbers may be different, however. A notice on ADPH’s website notes technical issues are impacting the coronavirus tracking dashboard.
“The dashboard update at 10 a.m. today will be delayed,” the website noted. ADPH has not responded to questions on today’s total.
Here are the daily case counts for each county, based on the numbers released today. The figure in parenthesis is the increase from the previous day. All numbers will be updated if ADPH provides new data today.
