In late February, Illinois expanded COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to people under age 65 with certain health conditions. Appointments at the United Center opened Sunday to Chicagoans with these conditions, including: cancer, chronic kidney disease, pulmonary diseases, smoking, diabetes, heart conditions, solid organ transplant, obesity, pregnancy, sickle cell disease and disabilities.
