A man died after a shooting in Denver’s Civic Center park on Monday afternoon, Denver Police announced on Twitter on Monday night.
The Colorado Capitol was locked down briefly after the shooting.
An adult male was taken to the hospital, where he died later Monday.
One adult male suspect was in custody, police said. The investigation was ongoing, but police said they were not looking for any other suspects.
Anyone with information in this case was asked to call Crime Stoppers, police said on Twitter.
