It’s back to the classroom today in two Indiana County school districts which are returning to full-time in-person instruction.

Purchase Line will welcome all students back for five-days-per-week school for grades K-through-12.

Marion Center will be bringing back its elementary school students in grades k-through-6 for five days per week.  The district will remain four days per week for grades 7 through 12 for now as it continues to monitor the covid situation and a substitute teacher shortage.

Meanwhile, Homer Center High School Principal Jody Rainey has written to those who are engaged in remote learning, advising them that if they plan to return for in-person learning for the final quarter of the school year, they must notify the district no later than Tuesday, April 6th, the first day of the quarter and the first day back from Easter break.  Anyone who elects to start the final quarter in remote learning must complete the school year in remote learning.

Anyone deciding to return for the fourth quarter or needing more information must contact Rainey (jrainey@homercenter.org) or assistant principal Matt Rodkey (mrodkey@homercenter.org ) or by phone at 724-479-8026.
