HOUSTON – As part of Houston Athletics' continual focus on creating the safest and most enjoyable gameday experience, Cougar Men's Basketball fans can expect to see new pregame and in-game elements inside the Fertitta Center during the 2020-21 season.

GAMEDAY PROTOCOLS
• To create the safest possible environment while combating COVID-19, UH Athletics is encouraging all fans to participate in self-assessment screening prior to attending games this fall. Symptoms include but are not limited to fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches and loss of taste or smell. A link to the self-assessment can be found by clicking here.
• As part of Houston Athletics enhanced safety and cleaning measures, all athletic venues will be regularly sanitized and disinfected in all high-frequency touch points and locations throughout our facilities.
• All fans will be required to wear a mask or proper face guard shield while on University property and inside its venues along with being asked to regularly wash their hands and properly distance themselves when possible.
• Hand sanitizer dispensers will be in place throughout the entire arena. Plexiglass guards will be located at all points-of-sale, and social distancing markings will be installed to assist with queuing.

MOBILE TICKETING & PARKING
• With an increased emphasis on safety, security and convenience for fans in mind, University of Houston Athletics announced in June that all ticketed sporting events will transition to a fully integrated mobile ticketing experience.
 • With mobile ticketing, Houston Athletics fans will enjoy various benefits, including reduced wait lines and contactless exchanges delivering a safe and quicker experience when attending events, eliminating printing, delivery, loss or stolen tickets along with more convenient access and options in managing of tickets.
 • From their digital wallets, fans can scan their mobile device at the entrance for easy venue access. In the event a fan cannot attend a game, this new ticketing solution provides a convenient option to resell their tickets on StubHub directly from their mobile device.
• Consistent with the new enhanced safety measures and protocols being implemented at Houston Athletics venues, fans are encouraged to pre-purchase cash parking passes for all home games that will provide a safer and more touchless experience on gamedays.  Go to UHCougars.com/tickets to purchase your cash parking pass in advance of arriving on campus.
• Cash parking passes can be downloaded onto your mobile phone.  The pass will grant you admittance into the Faculty & Staff entrance of the TDECU Stadium Garage.
• Fertitta Center doors will open 60 minutes before tipoff. Please note this change for this season from previous years.

REDUCED CAPACITY
 • Based on guidance from state and local health officials and University leadership, Fertitta Center capacity has been reduced to approximately 25 percent for the 2020-21 season to maintain social distancing. This reduced capacity model allows Houston Athletics to provide fans appropriate distancing during attendance at games.
• No courtside floor seating will be available at games inside Fertitta Center this season.
• Fans may enter Fertitta Center through the doors off Holman Street. Students should enter Fertitta Center through the designated student entrance on the Cullen Boulevard side. The Fertitta Center Club entrance will be available for fans with access to the Legends Club and the Sideline Club. The main Cullen Boulevard entrance doors will not be available this season.

TEAM BENCH SEATING
• In an effort to better protect coaches and student-athletes from both teams while adhering to NCAA and American Athletic Conference guidelines, the team bench areas have been flipped inside the Fertitta Center.
• Both team benches and the official scorer's table will be located in front of The Cage student section. Houston's team bench will be located closest to the Cougars' entrance tunnel.

STUDENT SECTIONS
• With the reduced capacity, the student section also has been reduced to 25 percent, or 250 seats.
• Due to the bench seating flip, the student section for the 2020-21 season has been moved to Section 106, Section 107 and a portion of Section 108.

TICKET SALES
• Priority of seating inside the Fertitta Center will be given to season ticket holders first.
• Houston Athletics expects no single-game ticket sales available for the 2020-21 season.
• News about any potential future single-game ticket sales can be found at UHCougars.com and on Houston Men's Basketball's social media platforms as that information becomes available.

CONCESSIONS
Fertitta Center will offer expanded cashless transaction options at all concessions, parking lots, merchandise and ticket booth locations throughout the venue and on gamedays.

Our guest experience inside Fertitta Center remains a top priority. Prepackaged food offerings will be available at concession stands throughout the Fertitta Center for the upcoming season as part of our enhanced health and safety protocols.

As part of our efforts to create a safe and convenient gameday guest experience inside the Fertitta Center, we now provide all guests mobile ordering options and in-seat delivery through the sEATz app. Fans can order concessions on their phone and have the order delivered directly to their seat location in minutes.
