The Week 5 NFL weather forecast is the wettest one we've had all year, with rain -- sometimes heavy rain -- on the radar for seven games, including Eagles-Steelers, Bengals-Ravens, Rams-Washington, and Vikings-Seahawks. Fantasy football owners will definitely want to double-check the forecast updates closer to kickoffs before finalizing their start 'em, sit 'em decisions.
Before we get into the Week 5 forecasts, here's a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don't hesitate to reach out to Rotogrinders' meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. Bengals @ Ravens. Expect rain that lasts throughout the game. Winds will remind light, but the potentially heavy rains could impact passing and kicking. Lamar Jackson is still in play because of his running ability, but Hollywood Brown is a little riskier.
Eagles @ Steelers. This one also figures to be wet all game, and the rain could actually be heavier than in Baltimore or Washington. That said, there's an overall lower chance of rain, so it's tough to recommend benching any key players until we get closer to kickoff.
Rams @ Washington. It's going to rain, likely all game long. Winds will remain light. The rain will likely increase later in the game, but either way, Jared Goff is a risky play.
Cardinals @ Jets and Colts @ Browns. Both games could see some light rain, but it doesn't look like either will be affected too much.
Vikings @ Seahawks. It's going to pour for most of the day in Seattle, but it might be breaking up and clearing some by Sunday evening. This game could still play a little wet, but not enough to have a huge impact on lineup decisions given how poor both defenses are.
Broncos @ Patriots. This game figures to play wet with off-and-on rain showers, and given the potential inexperience of the QBs involved, this could be a tough spot for all players involved in the passing offenses.
