HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Plans to reopen Space Center Houston have been put on hold.
The facility was set to return to business on July 1.
Once Space Center Houston does open back up, a new, permanent exhibit will also be available for view. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, displayed outside, is the same type of rocket NASA astronauts used in May.

NASA officials accounted the closure is being extended until further notice thanks to the latest stay-at-home orders from Harris County.
