MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia head coach Neal Brown conducted a tour of WVU’s massive upgrades and renovations of the Puskar Center on Tuesday afternoon, providing a firsthand look at the primary new facilities which are already paying dividends in the form of increased recruiting results.
“I’ll put that facility up against any facility in the country,” WVU Director of Athletics Shane Lyons said of the $55 million project, which included a teardown and rebuild of just about every are of the building which was first constructed in 1980. “I’ve been in some of the biggest and what are considered the best, and I think our new footprint, what we’ve done with that building, is very impressive.”
Following is part one of our look at the completed work, which has totally revamped most of the interior. All photos and videos copyright BlueGoldNews.com.
