Faith Center is opening a new school called Redwood School of Discipleship.
“The presence and involvement of youth and young adults at Faith Center has been growing, and we have been able to see first-hand the unique power and call that is on this generation,” said Preacher Matt Messner.
“As a staff we have been praying and looking for where we can join God in empowering and discipling this next generation. Out of that desire and prayer came the Redwood School of Discipleship,” he said.
At the school, students will be able to earn an accredited degree, while also receiving course credit for interning at Faith Center. Students will attend online classes through Life Pacific University, and will have the opportunity to intern in each of Faith Center’s departments — learning from pastors and leaders, and using their gifts to grow and influence the ministries of Faith Center.
An informational meeting about the new school will be held on April 18 at 12:30 p.m. at Faith Center, 1032 Bay St. in Eureka, or visit www.redwoodschoolofdiscipleship.org.
