The World Trade Center Arkansas' Get Ready to Be Ready Series has partnered with the Supply Chain Management Research Center at the Sam M. Walton College of Business for an invaluable four-part series that will provide analysis and solutions for small and medium-sized businesses whose supply chains have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our first entry, "Navigating Global Supply Chain Management," will provide one-to-one feedback in a virtual environment from industry experts, including:
- Mollie Bailey, vice president of international ocean and air, Transplace
- Bill Carver, vice president of managed logistics and sales, J.B Hunt Transport
- Jason Evan, vice president of international supply chain, Walmart
- Donnie Williams, executive director of the Supply Chain Management Research Center at the Walton College (moderator)
This webinar, which will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, will inform businesses on developing a global supply chain network, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery of goods.
The U of A's supply chain program was recently ranked No. 1 in North America by Gartner, a leading global research firm. This is an opportunity to hear directly from experts on how to improve your current logistic supply chain.
The World Trade Center's mission is to grow trade and increase Arkansas exports by connecting Arkansas businesses to the world through international trade services. The center is part of the University of Arkansas and serves as the official international trade promotion arm for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
