RADNOR – The HR McMaster Center for Security Studies Speaker Series at the Valley Forge Military College of Pennsylvania welcomed Northampton Community College assistant professor of political science Mr. Samuel Chen as its opening speaker for the fall 2021 semester.
In addition to his teaching roles, Mr. Chen is a private political consultant and expert in elections and campaigns. He addressed cadets about the election and political process in the United States.
“It is a great honor for me to be invited to open this year’s speaker series,” said Mr. Chen. “VFMC is known for educating cadets beyond the classroom and books to include the world around them. As future leaders, my intention is to share how the election and political processes are integral to the very society they will lead.”
The HR McMaster Center for Security Studies is named for VFMAC graduate Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster ‘80, US Army (retired) and received an honorary degree from VFMC in 2017. LTG McMaster served as the 26th National Security Advisor during the Trump administration.
