The Merrill Enrichment Center hosted their annual fall craft and market show Saturday, designed to get people of all ages excited for the fall season. Enrichment Center director Tammie Mrachek says that this year's scope was expanded a bit over previous years.
"This is an annual event, it's called our fall craft and market show. So, we've expanded it this year to include some produce and we eventually would like to grow this further to include flee market flips and a number of different crafters and artists," said Mrachek.
Mrachek says that the overall goal of the Enrichment Center is to bridge the gap between generations of the Merrill community, she says that the fall event helps to achieve that goal.
"It is a community event and that's what we're really shooting for is to draw people into our community. A lot of the crafters and vendors here are from Lincoln County but we do draw from neighboring counties as well," remarked Mrachek.
In case you missed the fall crafts event, the Enrichment Center also holds other events throughout the year including a similar sale in the spring.
