STAMFORD — In a sign that summer is approaching, Sunday will mark the return of the Farm Market at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.
Some of the vendors will include Beldotti Bakery, Conant Valley Jams, Muddy Roots Farm, Oronoque Farms, Smith’s Acres, Sisters Wicked Good Soaps, Charlie’s Chaga and Heckscher Farm.
At the Heckscher Farm Booth, items for sale will be from Arethusa Farm, Bushwick Kitchen, Maple Craft Foods, RISE Brewing Company, Sport Hill Farm, Stani Dairy, Twin Pines Farm and Wildowsky Dairy.
The Stamford Museum & Nature Center Farm Market will follow all protocols and safety guidelines issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Protection in an effort to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.
Customers will be asked to wash their hands upon arrival and vendors will help select and bag the products. Certain vendors at the Farm Market may prefer to receive payment by credit cards, or contactless payments, instead of cash.
Each patron is requested to wear a face mask to the market. A one-way path will be established for foot traffic at the Farm Market, and visitors should follow social distancing guidelines.
Visitors should use the Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s entrance at 151 Schofieldtown Road, which is past the facilities’ main entrance, to go to the market.
The Farm Market is staged at the Knobloch Family Farmhouse parking lot. Admission is to the Farm Market, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays, is free and open to the public. Visitors do not need reservations and do not need to purchase admission to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.
