The zany and energetic Squirrel Nut Zippers are bringing their Caravan Holiday Tour to the Miller Center a few weeks before Christmas on December 3, 2021. The Squirrel Nut Zippers are returning to one of their favorite destinations following their joyous, raucous performance back at the Miller Center in the in the winter of 2019. The Squirrel Nut Zippers bring Mardi Gras to life with their lively jazz, blues, and swing sound. Tickets are $44 and on sale now on our website millercenter.racc.edu.
“The Squirrel Nut Zippers fit perfectly into our planning for the Miller Center as we look to bring electric, high-energy multi-genre performance groups to our audience”, noted Tony DeMarco, Executive Director of the Foundation for RACC, which oversees the Miller Center. “Look for more musical acts that generate joy, laughter and fun”.
Two other events of note have been announced as the Miller Center continues to build their 2021/2022 performance schedule.
Beauty and the Beast Jr. presented by the Reading Community Players will be gracing the stage on July 30, 2021 @ 7pm and July 31 @ 3pm & 7pm. The beautiful tale of acceptance and tolerance that only Disney can tell. This will be the Miller Center’s first paid ticket event on the stage in over a year. All tickets are $15 and on sale now on our website millercenter.racc.edu. On Saturday July 31, the Great American Creamery will be selling their delicious ice cream in the lobby from 4:30 till 7pm for both shows.
The Miller Center’s commitment to contemporary dance programs is highlighted with the LA based contemporary dance group, BODYTRAFFIC, making their way to the Miller Center on October 30th, 2021. BODYTRAFFIC is surging to the forefront of the dance world and continues to make waves from coast to coast with its universal appeal to new audience members and dance lovers alike. Tickets are $54 and go on sale July 16th @ 10am on our website millercenter.racc.edu.
