After the dust settled on a terrific No Surrender main event between the IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and the resilient challenger Tommy Dreamer, the biggest surprise of the night appeared for a brief couple of seconds involving FinJuice.
Following a brutal beat down by Moose on the combatants in the world title main event, a video package played showing a series of high spots and moves by a familiar, world-seasoned tag team. David Finlay, son of legendary Irish wrestler Fit Finlay, and Juice Robinson have been a dominant presence in NJPW, having been the 2019 World Tag League winners and subsequently the IWGP World Tag Team Championship holders. It now seems that the two young stars may be looking to branch their talents out to the IMPACT Zone.

The New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) logo was shown clearly and vividly on IMPACT programming, bringing to light that the NJPW partnership between AEW and NJPW does in fact extend to IMPACT wrestling. IMPACT also recently partnered with NJPW for their Best of the Super Juniors Tournament last year, lending the talents of Chris Bey, Blake Christian, and KC Navarro to the tournaments bracket. The next step in the three-way marriage between the top promotions seems to be to have Finlay and Robinson compete in some capacity in IMPACT Wrestling.
Now it appears that the duo will indeed appear live on IMPACT Wrestling next Tuesday, as announced by NJPW Global’s Twitter account after the No Surrender special. This will mark the first time that either man has stepped foot inside the IMPACT Zone. In what capacity they will be involved has yet to be determined, though it is fair to say that they may have a few choice words for fellow former IWGP World Tag Team Champions (now IMPACT World Tag Team Champions) The Good Brothers.
This is sure to bring some intrigue to the product in ways that could surpass the AEW/IMPACT venture. The inclusion of FinJuice in IMPACT programming can help bring more viewership from the NJPW fanbase, a diehard group of wrestling fans that can add legitimacy to their overall product.
